Blog Feature + Mom Blogging

I've been quoted in some blog posts before, but I've never had a full feature done on me, so of course it was a big deal when my feature came out on MoneyMax.ph. I'm sure celebs and big time bloggers brush off these kinds of things, but yours truly's heart skipped a little when I saw my feature for the first time. Yup, I'm cool and sophisticated like that.

Also, I found it great how the writer really went through my past posts to give her article context and not just publish my answers in Q and A form. It's nice to see that people these days still do their research after all. Thanks MoneyMax for the great feature :)

In other news, I've regained my blogging mojo thanks to the fact that I no longer write all day long for a living. I'm still not reviving Kikay Exchange though, that ship has long sailed, but I have started writing again for Mom Exchange. I wrote about Ace's second birthday party here.

I hope to write more about parenting topics soon, but my main agenda for writing again in Mom Exchange is to have a repository of my son's growing up years. When I browsed through the blog, I realized that I failed to document about a year's worth of memories and that pretty much kills me. I've been blogging for more than a decade now and have several blogs to show for my effort, but none dedicated to my son. How ironic right? That's why I'll be rectifying that ASAP.

Incidentally, the blog section of Mom Exchange is a group blog so other moms can open accounts to have their own personal diary for their little angels. Please click here to start your own Mom Exchange blog account.

  1. Cool! Sikat ka na, Jill! Hehe. Dati ka palang beauty blogger bago ka nagkaroon ng personal finance blog. I read the article and it was nicely written. Tama, mukhang nagresearch talaga sila about you. :)

    1. Hi Edel!

I ran a beauty blog for about 6 years before I got tired of it. Kakasawa na rin kasi magsulat about lipstick, makeup and kaartehan.

  2. Congrats on the feature! I'm glad I found your blog, I'm reading through your financial advice posts and I know I have to come back again to explore some more of your blog! You give concrete advice and ideas and not just generic stuff :)
