Happy New Year!
It's a few days late, but the greeting remains just as sincere. Here's hoping that 2021 will be much kinder and less in your face than its predecessor.
For this year, I'm committing to hyper-focus on my goals, working on them one at a time instead of my usual multi-tasking approach. The goals in order of their importance are:
- Complete emergency funds (finish by 1Q)
- Complete car downpayment (finish by 3Q)
- Make at least a year's worth of excess mortgage payments on Condo A
I also want to convert our old office into our sons' bedroom but that is contingent on my husband removing his stuff from the space and that is beyond my control (I don't like to nag), so I will just make this fourth goal a floating goal and not stress myself over it.
Happy new year folks! How are you handling the first working day of the year?
